Two locations, two purposes
When arranging an online astrology consultation from abroad, your birthplace and your current location serve different purposes. Birth information is relevant to a birth-chart discussion. Your current city and country help arrange the appointment.
Write these separately. For example, someone born in Prayagraj who now lives in London would give Prayagraj as the birthplace and London as the current location. Moving overseas does not change the place or time recorded at birth.
For birth details, use the date and local time as recorded, together with the town or city and country. If you are uncertain about a record, explain the uncertainty rather than converting or guessing. Ask the astrologer to clarify what information is needed for your selected service.
Confirm both time zones
SmartJyotishi schedules from India Standard Time, IST, which is UTC+05:30. Your own location may have a different offset, and some countries change their clocks seasonally. A fixed time difference remembered from a previous appointment can therefore be misleading.
Send two or three convenient dates and times in your local time zone, along with your city and country. Once a session is agreed, confirm the date and time in both locations. The calendar date can differ when participants are far apart geographically.
Add the confirmed appointment to your calendar using the appropriate city or time zone. Check it again if you travel before the session. Do not confuse the appointment's time zone with the birth time used for a Kundli discussion.
Choose language and format
Online consultations with Hariom Shrivastava are available in Hindi and English for clients in India and abroad. Mention the language you prefer for discussing personal questions.
WhatsApp is the enquiry channel. Confirm the actual consultation format directly, including whether it will use a call, video or another agreed arrangement. Check that you have the required connection and a quiet place for the conversation. Do not assume that messaging alone includes a full reading.
Agree on the service scope, duration, fee, payment arrangements and any follow-up before booking. If you are discussing information about a partner or another person, obtain permission before sharing their details.
